Sleep Apnea

Hello All,

Well I have been told that I have sleep apnea. For those of you that do not know what it is, its when you stop breathing at night when you are sleeping. Allthought I am not happy that I have it. I am so releived to know what is going on with me other that the asthma getting so bad. I am waiting for a call to get set up with a CPAP machine. The CPAP will help me continue breathing all night. It actually forces your airway to stay open. I am so looking forward to feeling good again. Keeping my fingers crossed that this is helps. You know this September will be a full year I have been sick. I am praying that when September comes I can finally say I am well.

Hello All,

Well my dad just had open heart surgery Tuesday July 3rd. He needed to have the valve replaced in his heart. The heart surgery took 9 hours. Very long. After he was out of surgery he kept bleeding out more than they could put back in him so they had to go right back into surgery to find out what was causing the bleeding. They found it and fixed it. Was out of surgery by 11pm. So far so good. He is doing real well now.

Joella, my sister had been a real trooper, she has hardly left his side.

As of today he is still in CCU but doing very well.

Hello, I am Scheila's mom. I am so lucky to have her and I want to keep her. We have been through a lot together, and I just want her to breath too. I want more, but I will start with that. She always puts me first, now I want her to put herself first.

Hello All,

This is my new blog. I am very excited about it. It should be lots of fun. I was thinking that I should start out by uploading a picture of me. But as you can see I am a big chicken.

This is actually Mr. Rooster. My mom's bird she raised from a chick. He is better than a guard dog. Attacks anyone that comes near. I often wondered if that was on purpose to keep away visitors. LOL (Just kidding mom)

The title of my blog "Just wanna Breathe" comes from the fact that I have severe asthma and it's what I am thinking about all of the time. But it could also have other meanings for others I suppose. I hope to be able to explore tons of subjects and meet many new and interesting people.
