Our Little Guy

Out little guy Dakota has been sick. Here he is in his little hospital gown. Poor little guy had pneumonia and was having trouble breathing. But Ricky says he is doing great now and will be out of the hospital today. I hate it that Dakota had to go through all of that. Lets hope and pray he never has to go though that again. Anne, I hope you are doing okay and can get rested. I know this had to be rough for you and Ricky.

Blogging

Well I thought I would try blogging for a while instead of always posting pictures. Please forgive any spelling errors because we all know it is going to happen.

I had another nice holiday this year. My Mom and favorite Larry came home for the holidays. Always love seeing them. The weather tried to put a stop to our get togeathers but we finally got to see the familys. I was always thinking of Joella and hoped she was doing okay. She will be here next time. I missed not being able to see my Best friend and her family, but we will reschedule and it will give me somthing to look forward too.

Everyone says they can see an improvement in me. I started to feel like I was getting a bug so I started to increase my prednisone. Had to do that a few times, last friday was a really bad day but I got through it and now I am feeling better, except for the steroid symptoms. But it will get better. I am doing everything I can to make sure I do not get sicker even if it means prednisone. LOL

I am curious how others handle being allergic to perfumes, colognes, fragrances, a ton of smells.

I hope everyone out there had a great holiday and a very happy new start of 2009. Hopefully this year will be better for all.

Happy 2008 Everyone, I am hoping this year will bring happiness and good health to us all.

I am still trying to feel better. All the meds are taking a toll on me. But what can you do. Ya gotta breathe right? :)

My mom had surgery on her shoulder, It is one of the most painful surgeries you can have. She is in therapy now. More pain for her. I have been wishing and praying every day the pain will go away for her. She is a trooper though. Will not let anything stop her. Especially when it comes to shopping....LOL Sorry mom could not resist. Feel Better!

Happy Fall

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I have not posted lately. Things have been a little busy at work. Our division was purchased by BCS Industries so I am no longer working for Ugitech USA. It was sad, but I am trying to look at it as a good thing. Something like a new adventure.
I love the Fall Season, it gives me a comforting warm feeling.

I hope everyone is doing great! If not, just know that it will get better. I truly believe things happen for a reason.

Is this a "Dogs Life" or what? Sally is my mom's little baby. She wants my moms attention all the time. Even when Mom is on the computer Sally will keep bugging her becuase she wants her attention. Mom took a dozen or so pictures with the flash and Sally never stirred. Too cute.

My Mom's sanctuary. She has put in many hours of hard work, but she loves it. It's cute how excited she gets when something is about to bloom. I am happy for her. Of course it worries me a little her working out in the heat they have been having. When she sent me these pictures she said it got up to 102 Hot Hot Hot. She says she waters in the morning so it is not as hot. My mom has the greenest thumb, I always tell her she can make a stick grow.

Hello All

I believe the CPAP is helping me, I am not as tired. Keeping my fingers crossed. Each night gets a little easier wearing the full face mask.

Joella was in the hospital last week. They are saying she has TMJ, she was in allot of pain. She is home now and hopefully feeling better.

Ricky and Anne found out they are having a little boy. They are very excited. I am happy for them. The little guys name is Dakota James Lawrence. Very nice, I am looking forward to saying hello to him. Mom purchased a crib for them they should receive it any day now. Oops am I spoiling the surprise? :)

I have not heard from Sister Pam lately. I am sure she is doing good.

I could use some Good Luck for a change. In the last six months, I had to have my dryer looked at which ended up in me having to have all of my ducts cleaned out. My 36" TV quit on me and was too expensive to repair (it was like loosing a friend). My refrigerator quit on me and I had to have that repaired. And then this Sunday I had to have my car towed into the shop because it would not start. Well I guess I should not complain, it could be worse. I have so many thing to be grateful for. My Mom, My Best Friend, My little girls, I am starting to feel better, etc....

Ok enough about me for a while.

Here is a photo of my Mom and the three little Lawrences. My mom is so beautiful, and she has such a kind and loving heart. We are so lucky!

The three little Lawrences are Alycia, Logan, and Cheyenne. (I hope I spelled their names right) They are Ricky (my brother) and "My one and only sister in-law" Anne's little ones. They are so cute. And for those of you that are not aware yet there is another little Lawrence on the way, due in December. I am very happy for them. They are hoping for a boy, but will be happy as long and the baby is healthy. Anyone that has extra baby clothes they want to get rid of send them to Ricky and Anne if you can. Unfortunately they got rid of all the the baby clothes they had in the move. Isn't that how it always works.

Well I got my CPAP machine, a bit unfomfortable but if it will help me feel better I will get used to it......

Sleep Apnea

Hello All,

Well I have been told that I have sleep apnea. For those of you that do not know what it is, its when you stop breathing at night when you are sleeping. Allthought I am not happy that I have it. I am so releived to know what is going on with me other that the asthma getting so bad. I am waiting for a call to get set up with a CPAP machine. The CPAP will help me continue breathing all night. It actually forces your airway to stay open. I am so looking forward to feeling good again. Keeping my fingers crossed that this is helps. You know this September will be a full year I have been sick. I am praying that when September comes I can finally say I am well.
